According to a health survey, vegetarians are prompt to enjoy a healthier life.For You Yen Vegetarian Centre is a vegetarian outlet established by Mr. & Mrs. Heng Meng Teck. Mrs. Heng's interest in cooking vegetarian food has driven Mr. Heng to open this outlet back in 1985.
Their success in running this outlet soon encouraged their two sons, Song Wah and Song Ling to participate in this business. His eldest son, Song Ling has the expertise in preparing vegetarian food which he mastered in Taiwan, with a little bit of creativity, he managed to combine Taiwanese style of cooking with local style to create vegetarian dishes. Where else Soon Wah is a graduate in hotel management studies.
With the involvement of their two sons, For You Yen has been successful operating over the years.
